浸會大學傳理學院院長趙心樹強行提前發表尚未完成的對唐英年有利的特首欽選民調結果，震撼各方。這種粗暴干預學術民調的做法，在香港極不尋常。這不是香港學術民調機構的辦事作風。我稍稍在網上查找一下此人背景，原來他出生於中國，並於上海復旦大學畢業，剛剛又被揭發曾任職於敵視新聞自由的新華社。一個在極權中國出生成長，受教育，並曾任職新華社的人，其思想一般難免受到極大局限，對新聞自由的理解和追求很有可能跟出身自自由世界的學者大有出入。甚至，此人以其背景，也有可能是中國共產黨黨員。這樣的人，也許不妨在香港的大學機構做一些研究工作，教學也不太適宜，領導一個新聞學院更相當危險。為什麼浸會大學會聘請這樣背景的人來領導新聞學院，調查下去，隨時捅出更驚人的醜聞來。
本來浸會大學的新聞學科做得頗有聲色，但其聲譽已因趙心樹闖下這次大禍而大幅減值，而我也有理由懷疑趙心樹在其他方面也在這學院做了些帶有「中國特色社會主義」的手腳。
此人大概要從香港地區的新聞學術圈子遁隱了，但在黨指揮新聞的中國地區他應該還可以大有作為的。此人若不離開浸會大學傳理學院，原已沉淪的香港新聞事業將雪上加霜，這學院的師生也難以抬起頭來！
